The 9th Annual Maggie Lee Memorial 5K Run/Funwalk
The Maggie Lee Memorial 5K Run/Funwalk will be held on Saturday October 2, 2010. The race has a new venue this year. We will still be running and walking around Delaware Park's Ring Road, but registration and our post race party will be held at Saint Georges Church on Nottingham. This will be a great location for our event. A big hall for our post race party, and 2 parking lots for your convenience. The church parking lot backs up to the park. This year the course is certified. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The race starts at 10 a.m. We are always looking for sponsors or donations for the event.
For further information, or to register or donate, please call Renay at 883-5396 or fill our online Registration Form. Hope to see you there for a morning of fun, food, and prizes.

Who was Maggie Lee?
Maggie Lee had Epilepsy. She was a counselor at the Epilepsy Association, a community activist and a friend. In June 2001, she died suddenly as a result of injuries sustained during a seizure. We hold the run/fun walk to remember Maggie's commitment to those with Epilepsy, to fund services for those that share her disorder and to increase awareness of the needs of persons with Epilepsy that affects one out of every 100 persons in Western New York.
Please check back for upcoming details regarding the Maggie Lee 5K Memorial Run/Fun Walk!
